Thu, April 10, 2008 - 5:41 PMI liked that the ending was a bit unexpected. Incongruent, even. Especially bearing in mind that I thought the rest of it was formulaic, trite and quite predictable. So I applaud the ending for being less safe than the rest of the shitefest. But I've learned I don't much care for Stephen King these days. For the above criticisms. I DID like the film version of Rose Red, and it's Stephen King co-written pre-quel, The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer. But they are rare exceptions.
